Description

Century old Maori owned cottage, never connected to power, telephone or water. No modernising at all. Have felt a calmness here that I have not experienced elsewhere.

You did succeed in making the photo look old. Through I don't know if the red diamond boarder fits. Interesting photograph.

I wonder where my crit went. Lucky I checked back..I think this is a spectacular photo. You've used the light and the setting to match the ageless look of the cottage interior. Model is appropriate for setting and the tint gives it a very classic, tasteful appeal. My screen shows my vote registered. I vote again if I could.

Sorry but i cant get this. Do you mean that you toke this photo? That the model had the makeup done to look as in 1920, that you created all the scene arrangement, then toke the photo, then manipulated it to look that old? This looks pretty strange to me, almost unbelievable.
Then the photo has the typical blur of enlarged images. I can't believe you did all that to get this photo, then had it at a resolution so low that you had to enlarge it!!!

i can be wrong of course, dont take me wrong.. i am just curious....

I'm also curious how you did this, did you make the entire scene or is it a photo or scan of a photo? If you made it all by yourself you succeeded very well with the ageing effect and the composition is good. Only the border is just ugly, that's what I think of it.

Sorry... from all of the apparent clues, I can't accept this picture as a modern piece of work. If I'm wrong, then you have my sincerest apologies and the knowledge that you did a REALLY good job.

Well you posted it in the "Photo" section... "photo" means that you toke the photo... maybe that you did some adjustments, but that it is basically the same photo you toke

since you added the scanned girl, you turned the "Photo" into a "photo manipolation", that is different -- so in my opinion you should write what you did, like "i toke the background pic, scanned a girl, put them together and turned it to look really old" ... doing this you will get rid of "thomases", be sure ;)

dont take me wrong, it's just that you have to give the people the info, so that they can give you comments on your work! :)

I like this one...the mode is great...and don't want to discuss whom, where, who?....just love the photo....and if you've taken it then...of course this is awsome :)

wonderful. i'm surprised you can still take "new" photos with such a genuine old look. 5+ because i really think the frame with the awful red dots ruin the photo :(
